Love the book cover. The story was a nice clean romance novella. I was able to read in one sitting. I liked the characters. The story was interesting but I did skim near the middle. I would read something else from this author.Product details

A quick read and story of love,despair,unfaithfulness and all the usual saga involving a once happy couple.
Ideal to read on a cold winter's day with mug of hot chocolate and sweets.
Short, nicely written novella - but less escapist than some because Jamie is a creep! Liked Meg, liked Robert, liked the kid (some good lines about them). Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. This is one of a series of Barnes' books - all short- which are now being published in the US.
The author made the characters come alive. The story line is believable and you do get the happily ever after ending.
